On 24th October 2017 World Polio Day was celebrated by displaying awareness banners at educational institutions where our club has sponsored Interact Club and Rotaract Clubs, viz Government High School Old Alamathi, Remo International College of Aviation and Sridevi Arts & Science College. Also displayed banners by children of Thiruvalluvar Nagar Podunala Sangam a resident welfare association at Chennai. Rtn G Ravishankar Chairman Public Image RI District 3232 addressed Rotaractors on Rotary's spectacular role on eradication of Polio. Interactors carried placards on Polio eradication and importance of immunisation A huge banner was displayed at a high rise building at Guindy a suburb of Chennai for view of public at large on World Polio Day.
